The notes for Lecture 1-2 on protein and DNA structure are available here. The PDB file for an idealized alpha helix is also available.

I have included links to the course materials from the first day of class. With the exception of the PyMol tutorial and the lecture slides, all of these will be available in hard copy form in class. Please let me know if you have any problems downloading or reading these files.
