The Structural Biology Interest Group will meet this Wednesday, February 12, at noon in the Chemistry Conference Room (Hand Lab 1135). Our speakers will be:
- Kate Henderson - Kate will give a presentation on her graduate research, entitled "Thermodynamics of metal binding in TauD and Dke1: a comparison of the 2-His 1-carboxylate and 3-His facial triad in non-heme iron(II) enzymes." Kate is a graduate student in the Chemistry Department in the Emerson lab.
- Dr. Saphala Dhital - Saphala will present an introduction to flow cytometry and its applications. Saphala holds a Ph.D. Pharmaceutical Biology from the University of Tokyo.
